Meet The Pros
Steven Loader AAA PGA Member
Steve has been a Rich River golf member since he was 13 harnessing his passionate for the game of golf. He went on to Captain Rich River to its first Division One Pennant victory in 1996, before starting his PGA Apprenticeship in 2002. Completing his Apprenticeship with dux academic honours in 2005.
Steve was one of the first nationally accredited All-Abilities Golf Coaches and has worked closely with Peter Hyden who has represented Australia in the All-Abilities Tournaments both Nationally and Internationally.
In 2022 Steve moved into the role of Director of Golf for Rich River Golf Club. Steve heads up a team of Golf Professionals and oversees the Pro Shop, focussing on increasing participation in golf, especially women and juniors, member and visitor engagement, golf tournament & event attraction, and coaching.
JAYDEN DIXON – GOLF PROFESSIONAL
Jayden is available for coaching during the below times.
Wednesday 9am – 2pm | Friday 12noon – 3pm | Saturday 10am – 12noon
Jayden started playing golf at the age of 18 at Rich River GC, his love for the game quickly grew seeing his handicap drop below zero after only playing for a 5 year period. He moved to Bendigo to start his traineeship at Neangar Park GV before returning to Rich River in 2023 to complete his time.
Jayden continues to work at his own game participating in local Pro Am Events around the State, he is seen practicing and playing at the club regularly. He is only newly qualified as a PGA Professional but his friendly nature and willingness to learn has held him in good stead as a PGA Professional.
Jayden is an all-rounder he handles the Junior and Chip & Sip Clinics, whilst being in charge of repairs and spending time perfecting his customer service in the Pro-Shop. Jayden is also available for one-on-one lessons, distance gapping sessions and club fitting.
COOPER GENTLE – GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Cooper started his golfing life at the ripe age of 10. Being a Kyabram boy, he was bought up playing at Kyabram Parklands Par 3 course and with his father being a member of RRGC he made the transition with him.
Cooper started his traineeship at Rich River working under Steven Loader and Richard Caolifa. With great mentor’s, Cooper took to golf like a fish to water. He had a very successful playing career through his traineeship. In 2021 Cooper was ranked 2nd in the Victorian trainee order of merit, in the same year was ranked 12th in Australia. Cooper has also qualified for some Australasian tour events throughout VIC and NSW, including the NSW Open that was held at Rich River GC in 2023 as well as the Victorian PGA. Recently finishing in the top 10 for the 1st stage of Q School.
Cooper holds some unbelievable rounds of golf on both our East and West courses. The East course shooting 63 (-9) a whopping 3 times. Out the West shooting a 62 (-9). We are lucky to have Cooper and his tremendous ability to be able to teach our Members and Guests.
