What can I do in Echuca/Moama?

What facilities are at Rich River Golf Club?
Rich River Resort has all your needs covered under one roof. We have golf, mini golf, croquet, tennis and lawn bowls facilities; as well as accommodation, a licensed restaurant/bistro and gaming/TAB. What time does the Club open?
Open from 6am for breakfast, 7 days a week.
Where is Rich River Golf Club located?
We are located at Twenty Four Lane, Moama, NSW, 2731. We are only 5km from the town of Moama, nestled amongst the quiet and picturesque Murray River and Perricoota Wine District. We offer a free courtesy bus into Echuca and Moama.

Are breakfast/dinner reservations required for larger groups?
Yes, it is recommended that if your group of 8 or more is dining at our Bistro, you make a reservation.
You can make a reservation in the following ways:
• Phone 5481 3333 and ask to make a bistro booking
• Upon check-in at motel reception
• With our breakfast staff (if wanting to book for dinner that night)
Do you have a coffee shop?
Open from 7am, relax on the terrace while enjoying an expertly brewed espresso coffee and sweet treat prepared daily by our in house pastry chef or choose from a range of light dining options including sandwiches and hot food. For the young and young at heart we also have soft-serve ice creams.

Bistro
A relaxed modern space featuring indoor and al fresco dining options with famous golf course views. Enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch and dinner from our daily specials or select from the à la carte menu. Our wine list features premium Australian and New Zealand wines and local and imported beer.

Do you have a courtesy bus?
Yes, we operate 3 courtesy buses.
How do I book the courtesy bus?
You can book the courtesy bus by calling our Reception on 5481 3333.
How many people can fit on the courtesy bus?
We have buses that can carry up to 11 people or a larger shuttle that can carry up to 20.
How often does the courtesy bus operate?
The courtesy bus leaves Rich River Golf Club hourly, from 10am til close.
We have an early tee time, can the bus pick us up?
If you are staying off-site, we can arrange a special pick up time for groups of 8 or more (subject to availability).

Where does the courtesy bus pick up/drop off?
The courtesy bus can pick you up and take you to various surrounds within Echuca/Moama. We will drop you off at your destination (conditions apply).
Weddings
Can we have our wedding ceremony on-site?
Yes, we offer an idyllic setting to declare your nuptials:
The Lakes
Enjoy secluded lakeside surrounds, nestled amongst picturesque fairways. It is the ideal romantic location for your ceremony. $1000. (Hold your Reception on-site to receive a $200 discount).
Can we take photos on-site?
Yes, our manicured golf course and lush motel gardens offer ideal locations for your photographs.
Sunsets over the West Golf Course also provide a spectacular setting.
Photo sessions on our grounds do not incur a charge, however times and sites must be booked through the Functions Department to avoid any disruption to our golfers.
Do you supply decorations?
We have a range of decorative items available for hire including, vases, mirror centrepieces, lolly jars, chair covers and wishing well.
Limited quantities apply so please confirm availability with our Functions Co-ordinator.
You can supply your own decorations. Where possible your function is set up the day before which allows time to decorate, including place cards, balloons, table centre pieces and any other decorations you may have. We are happy to assist.

How much does it cost to have a wedding?
All weddings at Rich River Golf Club Resort are required to pay our Wedding Package Fee of $1,000. See what this includes here.
Our Function Co-ordinator will then discuss our dining, beverage and ceremony options, as well as any extra products or services you require to make your wedding unique and memorable.

Where do you hold the wedding reception?
Wedding receptions are held in our private first floor event and functions venue Tatalia.
Tatalia provides an elegant setting for your wedding reception with stunning views over the west golf course and breathtaking sunsets, beautifully captured through our floor to ceiling windows. Tatalia also features private bars, toilets and break-out balconies.

How much does it cost to hold a conference?
Our Tatalia Function Centre is the ideal space for your next conference or business event. Utilise the entire space for large gatherings or divide into three smaller areas depending on your requirements. Conference room hire prices are below:
Tatalia 1
Our largest conference function room offers a spacious setting with an abundance of natural light, large stage, P.A. system, a new data projector and extra large screen mounted from ceiling, spotlights, multiple power points, private toilets and balconies for breaks, making it the ideal room for presentations, dinners or trade shows.
Full Day (9am-5pm) – $250 | Half Day – $175
Tatalia 2
Often used as a conference room, breakout area or for catering requirements. Floor to ceiling windows with breath-taking views of our Championship golf course and balconies for breaks.

Tatalia 3
This medium sized conference room offers private toilets and balconies for breaks as well as an abundance of natural light and spectacular Championship golf course views.

Boardroom
Offering a pull down data screen, LCD TV, DVD player, large oval meeting table with comfortable leather chairs, this intimate space is ideal smaller meetings and training workshops.

Yes we have a number of on-site catering options available for morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and takeaway packs. View our options here.
We also have on-site dining options including the Bistro or our Function Co-ordinator can work with you to tailor a dining option that suits you e.g. a private dinner or BBQ pack prepared by our on-site butcher.

Motel
Are there disabled facilities in the rooms?
Our rooms do not contain disabled facilities at this time.
Do you offer baggage storage?
Yes we do offer baggage storage. Please speak to our friendly reception staff.

Is parking available at the motel?
Yes, each motel suite has a car port with one car spot. Additional free parking is available in our club car park which is adjacent the motel.

Rates start at $115 p/night midweek for a single, in one of our standard suites. Please see all room rates here
What are your payment options?
We accept cash or credit card. A deposit is required on all bookings.

What time is check in/check out?
Check in is at 2:00pm and check out is 10:00am. Early or late checkout is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

Sorry, no dogs/pets allowed on premise.
Do you accommodate RVs and caravans?
Yes, we can accommodate self-contained RVs and Caravans. No powered sites provided.
Short term parking is nestled adjacent our East Golf Course with clubhouse facilities at your doorstep.
How much is it to stay on-site in an RV or caravan?
Overnight stays in a self-contained RV or caravan are free of charge. We only ask that you join our club as a Rich River Roamer social member.

Our three golf Professionals, Steven Loader, Richard Caiolfa & Ben Patten have exceptional talents in customer service, coaching and equipment repairs and would love to help you play the best golf of your life.

How do I book a round of golf?
It is strongly recommended that you book your tee times and golf carts well in advance to avoid disappointment.
Social Golfers: please call the Pro Shop on 03 5481 3372 to make your booking.
Golf Members: you may book your tee time online through the Members Login.
How many golf courses do you offer?
Rich River offers two Championship golf courses, immaculately groomed and playable all year round.
The West Course stretches to 5,923 metres off the men’s tees, playing to a par of 72. Opened in 1979, the West Course has been host to many professional events. It has a tight layout with tree-lined fairways and elevated greens making scoring perhaps tougher than on the East Course.
The East Course, though, is no pushover. Measuring 5,809 metres off the men’s tees, it plays to a par of 72. Redesigned by Peter Thomson in 1998, the East Course is links style with water coming into play on several holes.

When are Ladies Golf competition days?
Wednesdays, Saturdays (limited field) & Sundays (individual, mixed or medley).
Visitors are welcome to participate in competition day golf for a reduced green fee plus an extra $10.

Bowls/Croquet/Tennis
How do I become a member of the Bowls Club?
To become a member of our Bowls Club please contact the Clubhouse on 03 5481 3333 or you can download the Membership Form.

When are Croquet competition days?
Three kinds of Croquet are played:
• Association Croquet played Wednesday and Saturday
• Golf Croquet played Tuesday and Thursday
• Kingball played once a month
When are Tennis competition days?
Night competition is run both on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Monday night is a mixed team competition consisting of 3 women and 3 men. The competition is run each school term and commences at 7pm.
Wednesday night competition is a men’s team format, consisting of 4 men. This competition is run in terms 2 & 3 through the winter and commences at 7pm. Form your own teams or enter your name to be placed in a team. It’s good fun and a great way to beat off the winter chills!
Ladies social tennis is played every Wednesday morning of the school term from 9:15am. Just come along, put your name down and join in the doubles competition.
On Saturday afternoons during summer, Rich River Tennis Club participates in the Campaspe Tennis Association. The competition runs October-March, playing home & away matches against various clubs in the region. Team consist of 4 men and 4 women in three sections. Membership is compulsory for these players.
