Since its inception in 1931, the NSW Open Championship has imprinted its place in history, with the best players domestically and internationally travelling to NSW to vie for the title. The tournament provides the opportunity for some of NSW’s and Australia’s leading elite amateur golfers to play against seasoned professionals under full tournament conditions. The NSW Open Championship is one of the premier events on Australia’s golfing calendar.
Rich River Golf Club is honoured to host this prestigious event from the 16th – 19th March 2023 and you can walk the fairways with Australia’s finest golfers as they battle it out for the Kel Nagle Cup.
TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
The 2023 Play Today NSW Open Championship will be held from March 16th – 19th, 2023 and will consist of four rounds of stroke play, with the leading 60 players (plus ties and amateurs) to vie for the title and the prestigious Kel Nagle Cup over the final two rounds.

ACTIVATIONS
Throughout the week we have a number of activations around the Club and on the Course for your enjoyment. There truly is something for everyone at the NSW Open.
THE PARTY HOLE
The action will be at the 16th hole East Course on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th March from 11am. Relax by the Rich River outdoor bar enjoy a variety of food trucks and drinks as you listen to the tunes from DJ German. If things get too loud head to The Village where it will be a little more relaxing to watch the golf action.
