Year after year, the Rich River Golf Club Resort continues to support the local community through donations and ClubGRANTS with funding contributed to local charitable and sporting organisations including provision of the sporting facilities for a number of charity and fundraising events held during the year.
From 1 September 2011, the former Community Development and Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme has been renamed ClubGRANTS following amendments made ti the Gaming Machine Tax Act 2001.
The ClubGRANTS Scheme, provides registered clubs in NSW with tax rebates (up to 1.85% of their gaming machine profits over $1million) when they spend an equivalent amount on community development and support. The ClubGRANTS Fund is a Statewide funding pool for large scale projects associated with sport, health and community infrastructure.
Our commitment to the community is targeted at five broad areas that we feel represent the core values and general well-being of the community at large; values such as health, education, safety, children and town prosperity.
It is imperative to Rich River Golf Club Ltd that it provides support to its member's community. Not only do we promise to deliver a warm, friendly and fun environment for everyone at our clubs, but we also want to extend this strong customer support outside the clubhouse and within the member's sporting groups, community charitable organizations and development projects.
We believe community support is one of our most important business responsibilities, a belief reinforced by other clubs that extend to virtually every corner of the region and who make a social contribution in excess of $1 billion per annum.
