Why has this been introduced?

On July 2, 2007, Rich River Golf Club implemented the Club NSW non-smoking legislation. Rich River realizes that this is your club now and that your wish is to be able to enjoy an environment that has cleaner air.
 
Your club no longer has enclosed areas for smokers, but instead has an outdoor dining and sitting area for everyone to enjoy that is comfortable and climate controlled.
This area minimizes litter associated with cigarettes, promotes initiatives with cessation smoking and ensure health, safety and welfare of all members, guests and staff of Rich River Golf Club.

Please note that the failure to comply with the Club NSW non-smoking guidelines can result in up to $550 in penalties.
