Senior grand final was held on Saturday 28th August at Rich River Golf Club Resort. We had 12 go into this final round from previous three auditions. The Members’ lounge was swamped with locals and contestants’ family and friends, some even having to stand.

Special guests Ali and Jordon from StarFM’s brekkie show helped rev up the crowd. Our judges, Kelly Wright, Claire Copp and Ken McMullan were amazed at this years standard of talent.

Winner was Imelda Taylor winning $2,000 from Echuca.
2nd place went to Jessica Kalwig from Melbourne and 3rd place was taken by Andrew Skinner from Echuca.

The Junior competition was held on Sunday 23 August was equally represented with some wonderful young talent. Auditions were held at the start of the afternoon, with the finals that evening.

Winner was Melissa Defina from Melbourne
2nd place went to Rebecca Hore from Echuca and 3rd place was taken by Teesha Irwin from Diamond Creek
The encouragement award went to Stephanie Harvey from Shepparton.

Next year is set to be even bigger than this year, with many of the younger singers moving through into our seniors’ competition.
