Sunday Juniors
Sunday Juniors is our golf program held every Sunday morning (excludig school holidays) between March and November. The program runs on a four week cycle and includes:

Week 1 - practice fairway games and drill working on full swing
Week 2 - chipping and putting games and completion drills
Week 3 - pitching and bunker shots
Week 4 - the sub juniors complete a 3 hole circuit, everyone has a handicap allocated relative to where they finish each week. This ensures that everyone gets a fair chance at winning and taking home our perpetual trophy for the month. The monthly winner will also get their picture posted on our website below.

Cost: $5 per session
Time: 9.30am-10.30am

It's fast becoming the Sunday that everyone is jumping out their skin to participate in. This clinic teaches the juniors valuable lessons in how to compete and implement on-course strategies, along with the skill sets they are learning in the first three weeks of our rotation.

Our junior program is open to under 18 juniors who are interested in learning golf in a fun and friendly environment. We also allow a small amount of time in most sessions to work on other games slightly outside golf to allow juniors to still enjoy the camaraderie that team games can bring. This also plays a very important role in fundamental movement skill (FMS) development which is vital in junior development. Statistics show, children between the ages of 6 and 11 who master the following basic skills will develop a better base of FMS, will develop golf-skills at a faster rate and will peak at a higher level of expertise.

FMS can be broken into four categories:
1. Locomotive Skills: Running, Jumping, Dodging, Skipping, Hopping, Bounding, Sprinting
2.
Stability Skills (ABC's of Athleticism): Agility, Balance, Coordination, Speed, Change of Direction, Disassociation
3.
Manipulative / Object Control Skills (ABC's of Athletics): Throw, Kick, Strike, Catch, Dribble, Dodge
4.
Awareness: Space Awareness, Kinesthetic Awareness, Body Awareness, Rules
