We are currently seeking:

Apprentice ChefQualified Chef

Our two Club's facilities include bars, dining, outdoor terrace and balconies, coffee shop and function facilities. With everything made onsite our kitchen brigade consist of 30 staff which includes an Executive Chef, Head Chef, Qualified Chefs, Apprentices, Cooks and Kitchenhands, Butcher, and a Pastry Chef.

Modern cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere James Maiden Bistro offers high quality, great value meals to suit all tastes. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner we offer a la carte seasonal menu as well as weekly themed nights and specials. In our 6 function areas we cater for all group sizes with our menus vary from set, buffet, cocktail and gourmet bbqs.

Applicants must be enthusiastic and expected to work to high standards, be reliable and self motivated in a busy team environment. For both positions applicants must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and extra shifts as required. Great base wage, weekend penalties and uniforms supplied.

Part Time Pastry Assistant
Assisting our Pastry Chef the duties for this position entail 
• Weighing, mixing and baking savoury and sweet pastry goods
• Following standard recipe cards
• Piping, icing and basic decoration
• Basic food preparation
• Attention to detail

Casual Kitchen hand
• Duties include basic food preparation, dishes and cleaning.
• Applicants must be enthusiastic and expected to work to high standards, be reliable and self motivated
  in a busy team environment.

For both Pastry and Kitchen hand positions applicants must be willing to work weekends, public holidays and extra shifts as required. Great base wage, weekend penalties and uniforms supplied.
